New story goes live at EDF …
My flash fantasy, Monochrome, went live today at “Every Day Fiction.”
Monochrome marks my second appearance in EDF’s flash-story-a-day venue. Tell’s Choice appeared in October, and is now archived there. If you are so inclined, you can read Tell’s Choice here.

Hi Steve, I found your blog via your reply on the Carnivah House site. Thanks for that and the email. I’m dabbling with a Sword&Sorcery Alternate World besides my Historical Fiction, and when I found out about the Infinity Swords anthology, I got an idea to expand a scene into a story. I’m not sure yet if I can make it work since I’m not usually a short story writer, but if I get something until Jan 15, I’ll submit it.
I read both your Flash Fictions. Loved both, the Tell story even better. I’ve read Schiller’s play as well as the modern version by Max Frisch, and like Rossini’s opera, so your take is an interesting view. Probably realistic, too.
Thanks, Gabriele. I appreciate your comments.
Judging from your blog you have a lot of interests — I hope it all comes together in a nice sub for “Infinity Swords.”

Steve,
Just finished the story. When finished, part of me wanted to scream, “The horror! The horror!” Another part of me wanted to laugh my you-know-what off. You can guess which side won out.
Loved the story.
Teal! O noes!
