I have a Top 10 story at EDF …
My flash story, Tell’s Choice, is rated in the top ten stories published at “Every Day Fiction.” Not too shabby, considering the one-flash-a-day venture has published about 200 stories to date. If you haven’t read it and are so inclined, you can read Tell’s Choice here.
EDF has added a ratings system, by which readers can rate stories on a 1-5 scale. The editors use those ratings, reader comments, the number of times a story is read, their own editorial sensibilities and some voodoo involving black roosters to assemble their top ten list. Those stories are listed in the sidebar of EDF’s home page.
If you are among those who helped vote the story into EDF’s top ten, I thank you. If you haven’t read it, but like a little bit of ghostly historical fiction now and then, feel free to give it a try. And be sure to look around the site while you’re there — Every Day Fiction publishes a wide range of flash fiction.

Congrats on getting into the top 10, Steve. You’re in some great company. Our top story has gotten 17,000 reads, so Tell’s Choice is certainly getting read!
While poking around on EDF I noticed that Steve’s story “Invincible” is in the top 25.

Well deserved!
Thanks for pointing that out, Deven … I didn’t know that.
Where on the EDF site can you look that up?
Oh, and thanks for tucking the link in there, too.

The “Top Stories” link is part of the FEATURES list on the sidebar. It lists only the top 25 stories.
I’d like to see them expand and allow navigation to more pages so readers could see the rank of all the stories on EDF and also pages to see the rank of a story within its category/genre. I figure I will wait until EDF gets the author pages operational before I suggest any of these.
So, Jordan, if you are reading this (Jedi hand wave) these are not suggestions yet. Move along.
